Overview

Stitch3D is used across industries wherever teams need to host, visualize, and deliver spatial data to clients or collaborators without asking anyone to install software or manage files manually. One of the fastest-growing groups on the platform is drone service providers (DSPs): independent operators and survey firms who fly, process, and deliver LiDAR and photogrammetry data for clients across construction, utilities, mining, agriculture, and beyond.

Drone service providers and spatial data delivery

For DSPs, the hardest part of the job often isn't the flight β€” it's the delivery. Processed datasets are large, technically demanding to view, and meaningless to a client staring at a folder of LAS files. Most providers end up shipping hard drives or dropping files into generic cloud storage, which creates a poor client experience and says nothing about the quality of the work inside.

Stitch3D changes that equation. DSPs use the platform to upload processed datasets and share them with clients via a secure browser-based link. No software download, no account required to view. Clients open a polished, interactive 2D and/or 3D viewer on any device, see their data in context, and can explore, measure, and annotate alongside their provider in real time. For DSPs, it's a faster delivery workflow and a stronger client-facing product in one.
